As a qualified educator, Creative Arts Therapist (Drama Therapy) registered with ANZACATA (Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Therapies Association) and a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, Micheline will connect with you to creatively discover personal resources to support wellbeing and mental health.
Micheline is passionate about how our innate and untapped creativity can be accessed to explore and develop fundamental skills and support mental wellbeing. She believes that the therapeutic power of the creative arts and play can be used to support developmental and personal growth and improve wellbeing.
As a qualified educator, she has witnessed and understands the many challenges that young people face whilst in the school system, and her work with young people aims to provide a supportive space that helps them become connected, creative and resourceful individuals to support their future success.
Micheline is experienced in Pathological Demand Avoidance, having worked with young people with a PDA profile both within education and therapeutic spaces. Micheline follows PDA best practice and provides a safe, non-directive and low-demand approach to therapy.
